The snapd Contest (Markham’s Virtual Canada Day) begins on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. EST and ends on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 5 p.m. EST
To enter, download the snapd HUB app, select the “Markham’s Virtual Canada Day” event listing, select the “snapd Contest” button and enter in the requested information to gain one (1) entry in the contest.
One (1) grand prize package consists of the following items:
i) One (1) $25 Tim Hortons Gift Card
ii) One (1) City of Markham recreation program registration (up to $150)
Winner must be an Ontario resident and 18 years or older to participate. A random draw will be conducted and the winner notified. Employees of the City of Markham and/or its vendors and snapd Inc. are not eligible to win.
Prize is subject to the terms and conditions as presented by each corresponding prize contributor. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Offer is non-transferable for cash.
ssnapd Inc. staff will contact contest winner to notify them of their prize.
Winner will accept their prize at the snapd Inc. head office at 505 Queen Street, Newmarket, Ontario or through alternative arrangements at a date and time pre-arranged by snapd Inc. and the winner.
When accepting their prize, the winner must answer a skill-testing question, show valid photo ID and sign a standard Declaration and Release form. The Declaration and Release form confirms compliance with the contest rules, acceptance of the prize as awarded, and releases snapd Inc. and their employees and board members from any and all liability, claims, and actions of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest and the receipt, ownership or use of the prize.
1. By participating in this contest, winner consents to the use of their name, voice, resemblance, photograph and/or image without compensation, whether online, in print, or
in any other media, in connection with contest publicity and/or any aspect of the City of
Markham and snapd Inc. Winner waives all rights, including moral rights, in this respect.
2. By entering, players release and hold harmless the City of Markham and snapd Inc. and
their employees and board members from any and all liability, claims, and actions of any
kind arising from or in connection with the contest or any prize won.
3. No purchase is required to enter in the “snapd Contest (Markham’s Virtual Canada Da)”
Contest.
4. The prize must be accepted as is, and may not be exchanged. No substitutions will be
allowed.
5. Computer software will be used to select a winning “ballot.” Odds of winning depend on
the number of entries received. snapd Inc. shall assume no liability for losses, delays,
errors, technical malfunction, damage or any other issue that may occur during collection
or processing of contest “ballots” into the software.
6. snapd Inc. and/or the City of Markham reserve the right to withdraw, terminate, amend or
suspend this contest at any time without notice. The published contest schedule and rules
are subject to change at any time and without notice.
7. Any contact information, such as phone number or email address, will not be kept on file or
shared, and will be used solely for the purpose of contacting the winner of the contest.
8. Participation in this contest includes acceptance of these rules, which will be applied by snapd Inc. All decisions are final.
9. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
